Establishment of ECFMG Testing Center in Ethiopia
On April 5, 2023, a significant milestone was achieved with the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the FDRE Ministry of Health and People to People (P2P). This agreement marks the establishment of an ECFMG Testing Center in Ethiopia. The new testing center will provide Ethiopian medical graduates and professionals with local access to the Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) certification exams, streamlining the process for those seeking to practice medicine internationally. This initiative is expected to enhance the quality of medical education and professional development in Ethiopia, further contributing to the country's healthcare system and the global medical community.
