On September 13, 2024, we officially launched the Adult Hematology Oncology Fellowship Program at the Embilta Hotel in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. This vital program addresses the growing challenge of cancer, which has reached near epidemic levels in Ethiopia.\n\nDr. Kebede from P2P USA recently visited the newly established Fellows Smart Room at SPHMMC. This cutting-edge facility, fully supported and funded by P2P, features advanced remote connectivity and virtual conferencing capabilities. During his visit, Dr. Kebede met with three promising fellows, highlighting the positive impact of this initiative.\n<br>\nThis project, funded entirely by Ethiopians for Ethiopians, represents a significant advancement towards healthcare self-sufficiency and embraces innovative solutions for the future.
