The project aims to support displaced students, now in Amhara IDP camps, by providing access to university education. This initiative seeks to empower these students, helping them overcome the challenges of displacement and build a future that can uplift both themselves and their communities.
The project was initiated due to the Oromia region crisis, which led to widespread displacement, forcing families to seek shelter in IDP camps. Many students’ education was interrupted, and resources in the camps are limited. The project also addresses a significant gender gap, as only one female student is among those selected, highlighting the need for targeted support in such crises.
1. Provide monthly financial support to students.
2. Offer psychosocial support to enhance student well-being.
3. Deliver mentorship services to guide students in their academic and professional journeys.
4. Empower female students through targeted programs and resources.
